The Mainstay Farm is set on 10 acres in Bungwahl. It is off the beaten tourist track, yet still only minutes to Seal Rocks Beaches one Way and 10 minutes to Cellito to the other as well as 4x4 beach access Sandbar and Treachery!

The Mainstay Farm borders the Myall Lakes National Park. We have three Luxe loft-cabins and a farmhouse, all at least 50m apart, offering each house privacy. There’s a ‘shack’ with small communal library, board games, and things like beach bats and backyard cricket and a teen tiny shop with cool things.

All houses are fully self-contained and include quality linens, pillows and top of the range mattresses, towels, ground coffee, a Bluetooth speaker and Smeg kettle and blender. Each house has its very own indoor fireplace and timber is free from the Shed.

Ware just over three hours from Sydney (one and a half hours from Newcastle or half an hour from Forster) and mere minutes away from Seal Rocks, Sand Bar and Cellito.

The best of both worlds, drive to the beach just 9 minutes away but stay on the farm. Just 4 houses on 10 acres with a communal Shack filled to the brim with books, board games, back yard cricket, beach bats, etc. Even a little shop where you can buy goodies during your stay.

For the benefit of our guests, we have free Wi-Fi because phone connections in this secluded area are limited. The General Store and legendary Chaos Takeaway, the only shops in Bungwahl, is 600m walk up the road, while we provide all the basic amenities you need including ground coffee, salt and pepper, olive oil in addition to linen and towels.

There is no light pollution, which means the Milky Way is spectacular in Bungwahl.
